Ren Qian
born in Chongqing in 1971. He graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 1995,majoring in Oil painting.He is an active contemporary artists in Chongqing and abroad covering multiple medias. He is also an academic board member of Chongqing Contemporary Museum. He lives in both Chongqing and New York. Ever since 1999, he has experimented the following arts forms: behaviour arts, installation, sound and video art, photography, painting, curating exhibitions, etc. In 2017, he got the Talented Artist Visa and lived in New York, USA. Before that, he has been invited to the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Bulgaria and other countries as a resident visiting artist, and has participated in many domestic and foreign contemporary art exhibitions and international behaviour arts festivals.
