Puyuemei is an artist with ideals, but her ideals are not mere fantasies. They are the artist’s unique “surreal” ideals.

Puyuemei is a sensitive artist who has explored various artistic methods, especially in the field of painting. She uses the concept of cities to reflect the aspects of urban life experienced by people in the present. Life and artwork are inseparable for her. Puyuemei’s creative process is also distinctive. Her “creative realm” is at home, without deliberately decorated studios. The materials and time for creation are readily available, which brings her joy in creating and serves as the gateway to her world of transitions.

Pu Yuemei，Born in Chengdu, Sichuan in 1982, studied at the Affiliated Middle School of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts and the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts. Lives and works in Chengdu as a professional artist, mainly engaged in the creation and research of experimental art and painting.My representative work, “Concrete Heaven” series, is an artistic exploration spanning a decade.
We’ve always had an art group that’s been working on art education about the environment and classes in experimental art and art therapy, and we’ve even gone into hospital rooms for years and worked with depressed patients.
